  •  Introduction to American Clay plasters, benefits, properties, mixing and preparing the plaster.
  • Troweling Roundup: Fundamentals of application, basecoats, topcoating, and COMPRESSION!
  • Short break
  • Clay-Time: Finishing methods and experimentation. Intro to artistic techniques!
  • Re-cap, cleanup, and an afternoon toast!

What to Pack

  • Close-toed shoes are required! Trowels are sharp!
  • Sketch-book
  • Water bottle, camera, etc.
