To emphasize the "Old world" feel to the Spanish mission style estate, Sage Wall Artistry created the wine cellar in a "mancharo leathere" plaster style finish.
The result was a warm leather look with tons of dimension!
The plaster is made from lime and marble, and was applied in several layers, along with a glaze for the topcoat. Of course, all the materials used were water-based and low-odor so the future residents will enjoy only the fresh cedar scent of the room from the racks, as opposed to the paint fumes. Not to mention a few choice wines....
